Course Overview

Working with Babies is very different to working with big people! Gain confidence in navigating the family unit, and treating the child as a fulcrum in the family constellation. Being able to relate to a child’s sense of safety through pacing and establishing a relationship, are imperative for a successful clinical interaction. Often when working with the family unit, we are aware of the many different dynamics that can be interplaying between its members. Where is the child in their surround? How can we support them to be with their inner knowing of their light and health? This is central to their innate wellbeing.

Meeting the Unique Needs of Children

This is a post-graduate seminar for Biodynamic Craniosacral Practitioners. Four days of deepening into practical aspects of biodynamic work with babies and their parents, understanding the anatomy and physiology of babies, the role and influence of cranial nerves on basic functions and how to apply the polyvagal theory when working with babies. We will practice skills of working with babies and their caregivers, to support the family system and attachment process. We will discuss common issues such as colic, acid reflux , torticolis, plagiocephaly, feeding and nursing difficulties, tongue tie, disturbed sleep etc. The seminar is for BI graduates or biodynamic BCST practitioners with minimum of 500 hours training .

Hands-On Learning

The course will include experiential components such as demonstrations and videos of live clinical sessions with children and their families.
